Data flow

What gets transferred?

Data in ETA flows to the portal, and orders and payments made in the portal flow back to ETA, so nothing is entered twice.

From ETA to the portal

  • Products, prices and stock per warehouse
  • Customer accounts: credit limit, payment terms, sales rep
  • Account statements, invoices and order status
  • Back orders and previous purchases

From the portal to ETA

  • Orders, with up to five discount levels per line
  • A separate order document per warehouse
  • Order notes and line notes
  • Card payments, with the bank and the number of installments
  • The document number from ETA is saved back on the order

Queries and document templates are set up to match your ETA configuration.

Live lookups

Checked in ETA at order time

Credit checks use ETA’s current records, not a copy in the portal.

  • The remaining credit limit is checked in ETA at order time and can also count orders that haven’t reached ETA yet
  • Overdue debt is checked against the day and amount limits you set; the order is stopped or sent for approval
  • Dealers see their statements, invoices and back orders exactly as they are in ETA
  • Order status and previous purchases also come live from ETA

Orders reach ETA on your terms

During the day, approved orders reach ETA within about a minute, and orders that meet your rules join the queue without waiting for approval.

  • Orders are split into separate ETA documents by the warehouses the items ship from
  • Line discounts go over at up to five levels, with the notes on their lines
  • Each document is written in a single transaction, and its totals are updated in ETA
  • If something fails, you get an email and a notification, and the order can be resent in one click

Setup

Connected to ETA in four steps

  1. Installation

We install a small integration service on the network where your ETA server runs; the portal never connects to your ETA database directly.

  2. Mapping

Warehouses, prices, discount fields and document series are mapped to their counterparts in ETA.

  3. Scheduling

You choose how often each type of data syncs: every few seconds, at set times of day or on demand.

  4. Testing

Test orders and payments are checked in ETA, then your dealers start using the portal.

And more

What we take care of in the ETA integration

  • Runs on your network

The portal never connects to your ETA database directly; everything goes through the service installed on your network.

  • New year

Queries use labels instead of table names, so a new year only means updating the year definition.

  • Foreign-currency orders

Foreign-currency orders go over together with their exchange rate.

  • Installment payments

Card payments go to ETA with the bank and the number of installments.

  • Multiple connections

You can define several ERP connections, and each transfer runs over its own.

  • Logs and alerts

Every transfer’s start, finish and errors are logged, and the right people get an email and a notification if something fails.

FAQ

About the ETA integration

Have another question? Call us: +90 216 277 70 80

How do you connect to ETA?

Through an integration service installed on the network where your ETA server runs. Data is read from the ETA database with queries, and orders and payments are written with templates prepared for your ETA setup. The portal never connects to your ETA database directly.

How often are stock and prices updated?

You decide: every few seconds, at set times of day or on demand. Information such as credit limits, statements and order status is looked up live in ETA whenever a screen opens.

How do discounts reach ETA?

Each line’s discounts go over as percentages, at up to five levels.

How is an order from several warehouses transferred?

The order is split into separate ETA documents by the warehouses the items ship from, and each document’s number is saved on the order.

What happens if a transfer fails?

The order is marked as a failed transfer, and the right people get an email and a notification. Once the issue is fixed, the order can be resent in one click.

What happens when a new year starts?

Queries don’t need rewriting; the new year’s database name is updated in the year definition.

Can you connect to a different ERP too?

Yes. Our infrastructure doesn’t depend on the ERP: as long as your ERP allows access to its database or services, we can quickly connect to one that isn’t on our list too.
